Amazon's Metering and Bill Generation team is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager with a strong business and technical focus to lead critical programs. The AWS Metering and Bill Generation team is focused on enabling AWS product teams and AWS Marketplace to easily provision services, meter usage and generate invoices for AWS accounts. The systems we build interpret and process a very high volume stream of events (i.e. trillions per day); often bundled with low-latency/real-time analysis to enable security and fraud
· Bachelor’s degree or higher with a technical discipline (computer science or engineering preferred) · 5+ years of Program Management experience in large, cross-organizational projects prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts and negotiating timelines · Experience managing software or application development efforts · Experience working across multiple technical teams · Experience with designing technical solutions - broad technical breadth and depth including web services and back-end application infrastructure · Superior verbal and written communications skills with high attention
