The Amazon Device Cloud Services organization is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to scale our services and solutions. We build services that enable critical customer experiences across all Amazon devices including Kindle, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, Amazon Echo, and Amazon Dash in addition to Amazon experiences on 3rd-party devices. These services include registration, over the air software updates, analytics, cloud to device messaging, and device management services. As a Senior Technical Program Manager on Device Cloud Services team, you will be the program lead for driving new initiatives and solving scaling challenges. This is a high visibility role that will require working with several engineering teams to scale our services and deliver magical experiences to our customers at a high velocity. You will be responsible for influencing feature priorities and getting buy in from engineering teams for delivery of large cross-organization programs. You will leverage your technical knowledge
· 10+ years of software development industry experience · 5+ years in a technical program management role · Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline · Experience defining processes, project management, and release schedules · Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels across the business · Experience leading teams that require coordination between stakeholders· Experience building solutions for Consumer Devices or distributed web services · Experience working with external technology partners and enterprise customers. ·
