Amazon is looking for a talented, driven and highly analytical Sr. Supply Chain Manager. This role will primarily support the Produce, Meat, and Seafood categories for both Prime Now and Amazon Fresh. The Sr. Supply Chain Manager will own developing the strategy and implementing supply chain and inventory management projects for short-shelf like products like fresh produce and meat. The Sr. Supply Chain Manager will lead cross-functional initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure of the businesses. It is an excellent opportunity to drive innovation in a nascent ecommerce category. Specific responsibilities include: · Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to continuously improve overall cost structure, customer experience, enable new capabilities, and reduce waste · Answer complex business questions and make decisions by querying and analyzing large data sets · Work with internal teams to build automated tools and process improvements that will drive scale
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Operations, Engineering, Statistics or Finance · 8+ years supply chain, consulting, retail and/or project management experience · Excellent problem solving and strong analytical skills as well as written and verbal communication skills · Detail orientation with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects · Proven ability to manipulate and analyze data sets · Proficiency in SQL and Excel · MBA preferred · Strong proficiency in business intelligence, validation of data sets, and distillation of data into actionable
