Amazon is seeking an entrepreneurial and creative Senior Special Projects Manager to help create and grow an innovative new program within Amazon which will inform larger company strategic decisions. As a Sr. Special Projects Manager, you will own end-to-end business development and marketing activities across multiple projects and e-commerce channels. This includes fostering and growing relationships with external business/partner stakeholders as well as managing relationships (and expectations) with senior Amazonians. The primary objective of this role is to deliver project outputs that help Amazon make strategic decisions. We are seeking an innovative, passionate, and purpose-driven strategic thinker who doesn’t expect to deliver results by following recipes – you should expect to be the one to write and run playbooks on solving complex problems. · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, E-Commerce or related field · 7+ years of relevant professional experience, OR Masters and 5+ years of relevant experience· MBA · Second language (ideally one/multiple of: Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, French) · Technical, Financial, and Legal understanding of E-Commerce drivers · Knowledge of eCommerce landscape and 3rd Party solution providers/frameworks · Extensive experience with negotiating, evaluating/assessing risks, and problem solving. · Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
