The Strategic Sourcing Group at Microsoft is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Engineer to drive impact and deliver results that enable our Logistics Supply Chain to achieve their delivery, financial, and other performance goals. The Strategic Sourcing Group is responsible for all direct materials and supply chain services sourcing for our first party hardware devices. We develop partnerships with our internal Supply Chain teams and our third-party external suppliers to deliver high-quality services that delight our customers and deliver a fantastic Microsoft experience. This position will focus on leading one of the strategic services categories in Sourcing. This will include working with a Redmond based team of sourcing professionals, owning supplier and partner relationships, defining the category

• Lead and manage a strategic Microsoft Devices' Sourcing category and own the engagements at all levels with Microsoft's strategic suppliers and partners. This includes ownership of all partnerships and sourcing portfolio that support Microsoft's 40M annual branded devices: Xbox, Surface and Hololens. • Use functional expertise in logistics, transportation and warehouse management while leveraging partner insights and requirements to establish and execute market leading sourcing category and supply base strategies via full market knowledge, supplier rationalization, predictable and industry leading
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Business is required. • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Transportation Management preferably within a high-tech manufacturer, or supplier partner managing across multiple customer segments such as Retail, Distributor, Consumer, Enterprise, etc. • 5+ years of experience managing outsourced transportation logistics services. • 3+ years of operational experience within logistics and distribution. • Excellent program management experiences including critical thinking, strong written and verbal communications, and ability
