Are you looking for a position on the forefront of gaming? The Xbox Game Pass team is bringing the power of subscription gaming to a quickly growing user base, and we're just getting started. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineering Lead to help us build experiences that make it easier for our users to learn more about Game Pass and to find their next favorite game. As lead of the Console Experiences team, you will guide our efforts to attract and retain our most passionate gaming customers by helping them to discover and continually rediscover the growing value that a Game Pass subscription provides them. Your role as Console Experiences lead will have you leading a passionate group of developers learning new skills as they build new experiences on our evolving console platforms, so your technical and mentorship skills will be put to good use. Existing experience with console or Windows development will be helpful; in particular, understanding of the C#/XAML application environment

Ultimately responsible for engineering work and quality on Game Pass console experiences. Lead a team of engineers, providing technical and career coaching to help them grow their skills and careers. Participate as a member of Game Pass leadership, setting long-term vision for console projects and how they interrelate to our overall ecosystem. Own a variety of cross-team and cross-division relationships, including primary ownership of the Game Pass relationship with the GXP console engineering team. Manage team backlog and dependencies by working closely with partners across PM, Design, and Business
Must-haves: 7+ years of professional software development experience Real passion for bringing value to a gaming audience and an understanding of their needs A love of leading people, building an incredible team, and cultivating a community of inclusion and respect Exceptional skill at working across teams and divisions, with a history of building positive partnerships between groups The mindset to strive in an agile environment where your work changes rapidly in response to customer feedback and data A strong performance history Strong pluses: 2+ years of leading development teams Excellent design
