Mixer is the newest addition to the Xbox family. At Mixer we have redefined the rules for what constitutes live streaming. We don't talk about delay in terms of seconds, in our world we operate in milliseconds. We're able to do things never thought possible to make the viewer and streamer experience far more engaging and interactive. From the obvious; seeing a streamer respond to a chat message instantly, to the exciting; allowing a viewer to interact directly with the game the streamer is playing, we've made the viewers part of the action and we're not stopping there! We are looking for an Engineering Lead to join Mixer and run one of our development teams, managing 5-10 software engineers. The team focuses on building one of the Mixer front-end web clients. You can expect to spend anywhere from 30%-50% of your time on direct technical problems and the rest managing the team and setting them up for success. 6+ years of professional software development experience 2+ years of technical people management of teams of 5 or more Experience with web stacks, UI patterns, Angular, React, Redux, JavaScript, Typescript Shipped a customer facing front-end web application Strong problem solving and debugging skills associated with production services Self-motivated and comfortable dealing with the ambiguity Experience designing, developing, and shipping distributed systems Knowledge of one or more cloud platforms
