Positions with our team involve a fair amount of deep thinking and experimentation to solve the many hard ML and natural language processing problems that we face and drive the product and technical vision of Cortana forwards. Curiosity, creativity and versatility are strongly valued. But successful candidates will also need to demonstrate an ability to deliver viable solutions that can run efficiently and reliably in large distributed computing environments. Given the broad range of algorithms and technologies we use, all candidates should expect to grow and learn a lot with our team.
Basic requirement: -BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical field -5+ years Programming experience in C++/C#/Python/R/Java/data structures/algorithms Preferred: -Strong research and/or development experience with machine learning, data mining, natural language processing, pattern recognition, speech recognition and/or information retrieval -Experience in architecting, developing and delivering advanced engineering projects is a strong plus. -Proven track record on shipping products/services with high quality -Passionate and self-motivated
