Defining success data metrics for new features Designing and implementing telemetry code in Windows Analyzing telemetry data to influence feature design decisions, drive product improvements, and improve quality of Windows core Applying and developing advanced Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence tools and techniques to efficiently analyze terabytes of telemetry, to find bugs and to identify areas for future development Analyze telemetry from Azure datacenters, add additional instrumentation to fill telemetry gaps and identify opportunities to improve OS reliability
Required qualifications: MS/BS in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience 5+ years of software development experience Preferred qualifications: Experience with Data Analytics, Big Data, and Telemetry towards providing deeper understanding of End to End Customer Experiences Solid interpersonal skills with a strong desire to work in a collaborative environment on a fast-paced team Motivation, Passion and Drive to build high quality products that delight our customers Enthusiasm for working with customers and solving their problems Knowledge of Operating System internals Ability
