We are looking for an experienced, self-directed data scientist to join our team and help deepen our understanding of gamers and their relationship with other gamers and game content, to provide more meaningful and richer experiences. You are experienced in a wide array of ML techniques, with a penchant for problem solving. You are exceptional with the theoretical, practical, and business aspects of machine learning. You will deliver actionable insights, recommendations and product improvements to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will be working with large volumes of data in batch and real-time, which are both structured and unstructured. Deeply understanding what excites our existing users and what motivates new users to join Xbox Live is core to our success, and your skills are central to this success
• 3+ years of educational or professional experience in applying machine learning, statistics, and/or simulation to predictive modeling for real-world problems. • Experience with ML tools to build models and analyze data. Preferred Qualifications • Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or other quantifiable fields such as Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Decision Science, Data Analytics, etc. • 5+ years of experience developing production quality software in a professional engineering role. • Love to extract insight out of very large-scale data set • Experience with Azure
