We are the Outlook Engineering team and currently looking for a highly motivated developer who can help build scalable Calendar platform and set a high bar for performance and reliability. We are in the early stages of fundamentally rethinking the existing calendar backend to meet the next generation time management use cases. You will be building a massively distributed cloud service with O(exabyte) data handled by O(300K) servers in O(100) data-centers around the entire globe. Qualifications Successful candidate should have: Strong passion and proven experience delivering highly quality services/distributed systems. 5 + years of experience designing, implementing and shipping products. Ability to generate clarity in ambiguous situations Experience in C++/C# (3 years or more). Exceptional problem solving, coding and debugging skills Passion for and ability to quickly understand emerging technologies. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Strong pluses: Strong background in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms. Performance analysis skills. Passion
