The Datacenter Management (DCM) team is looking for a strong software engineer to help evolve the next generation datacenter management solution to scale and manage millions of hardware devices and machines that power the Microsoft Azure platform. You are a successful engineer who will drive the features for Azure datacenter configuration, management and monitoring. You will be working across group boundaries to build strong relationship with partners; and drive multiple teams to deliver on scenarios. You should be comfortable producing highly available systems that operate at massive scale. You should have hands on experience with design and implementation of large scale, distributed systems. You drive improvements regardless of ownership, identify bottlenecks in processes and come up with ways to improve efficiency. You are a great team
5 years of software development experience Preferred Qualification: Strong experience with Java/C#/C/C++. Demonstrated ability and passion for designing and building highly available distributed systems at scale. Demonstrated problem solving and debugging skills. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required. Experience with agile methodologies is a plus, a willingness to adopt them is required. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
