We are launching a Cognition Africa engineering team to build out the Mixed Reality Cloud Services that will democratize access to the groundbreaking capabilities of the HoloLens. We are looking
You will work on the delivery of high-quality code components that will power the services, servers, distributed systems, networking and backend architecture for our products You will partner with industry-leading Engineers, Artists, Producers and Designers You will play multiple different and often divergent roles to ensure the successful creation and productivity of our newly created engineering team You will incorporate the latest AI, Machine Learning and Computer vision capabilities into the design of our products You will help facilitate the creation of a new engineering center in Africa
Required Qualifications: 4+ years' experience in Software Engineering 4+ years' strong C#/C++ coding background, debugging ability across technology stacks Other qualifications: Experience shipping highly scalable services, networked applications or distributed systems Experience working with distributed engineering teams Strong cross-discipline collaboration and communication skills Proven track record of multidisciplinary capabilities This role requires significant travel to and time spent in Africa Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required
