Every once in a while, an opportunity comes along to connect the dots in a non-linear fashion, with the potential to fundamentally shift how users interact with apps and services to achieve more. The advent of affordable devices with voice and vision processing capabilities has ushered in an era of ambient devices for the home. The adoption and usage of these 'ambient' devices has been surprisingly quick. 1 in 3 smartphone users are using a voice assistant daily, 20% of connected households in the US have a smart speaker. However, Voice, Vision and Conversational interaction modalities and experiences at "work" are largely untapped. There are no clear leaders in this space – yet. The mission of our (new) incubation team is to lead the industry and establish category leadership with Voice, Vision and Conversation in our core Office apps. We will leverage the work in Office 365 Apps, Services, and Intelligence and partner closely with Research, Cortana, Semantic Machines and other teams.

5+ years of development experience in consumer or enterprise products or services, using Microsoft technologies. Cloud and Mobile (iOS, Android) a plus. 2 or more products/services or large scenarios from concept to servicing with clear ownership BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field
