The Serverless Applications team develops products such as AWS Lambda that manage the complexity of distributed systems engineering on behalf of our customers, enabling them to focus on product innovation in fields as diverse as on-demand video streaming and space exploration. We have a range of initiatives on the team, from performance optimization to new product development, and we are actively hiring software engineers. As a member of the team, you will work with a group of talented, mission-focused colleagues to propose ideas and to design, build, and evolve production AWS systems. You will have the opportunity to talk with customers to understand their needs; you will see them adopt the technology you build; and you will use their feedback to inform future development. Depending on your interests, you may work on a broad range of technical problems
· Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. · At least 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation. · At least 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation must involve: designing and developing large-scale, distributed software applications, tools, systems and services using Java, Scala, C#, or C++, and Object Oriented Design.· Experience taking a lead role developing complex software systems that have successfully been delivered to customers
