Mixer is video and the video services power the pipeline that sends data from the streamer to the viewer with sub-second latency. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to evolve our video platform and provide the best experience for our streamers and viewers. We operate thousands of servers across dozens of data centers so if you like working on large scale services, Mixer is a great place to contribute your expertise. In this role, you will be working with the latest service technologies such as Kubernetes, microservices, and ASP.NET Core. You will be responsible for making data-informed decisions using telemetry to ensure a consistent quality of experience
Qualifications: You have 6+ years of professional software development You have shipped customer facing software that has been used by millions You have experience building and monitoring services at scale You have experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure You have experience with C#, the .NET Framework, or similar technologies You are interested in video protocols and streaming technology You thrive working in a dynamic environment
