The AWS Systems Manager team is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our team to focus on Systems Manager in particular but also work across all AWS Management Tools services in general (e.g. AWS Config, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CloudTrail, and others) along with other AWS service teams we collaborate with. This role will work across our engineering teams to ensure that our services are designed and implemented to the highest standards thus maintaining and enhancing customer trust. If you enjoy analyzing system services, operating systems, networks, infrastructure applications and processes used from a security perspective, and you are skilled at discovering security issues that appear under new threat scenarios, this position will provide you with a challenging opportunity. You will participate in the design, build, and deployment of security-focused services as well as provide consultation, architectural review, risk analysis, vulnerability testing and security reviews of many
· BS in computer science, networking, information systems, computer engineering, or 8+ years’ equivalent experience · Minimum of two years’ experience in network, system, or software architecture; design, implementation, support, and evaluation of security-focused tools and services · Minimum of two year experience in identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans · Minimum of one year scripting or programming experience in Ruby, Python, Shell/BASH scripting, Java, C/C++, C*, Perl, or other languages · Minimum 3 years experience with three or more of the following areas:
