Be part of the team that is responsible for developing and administering compensation programs that support Microsoft's strategic goals and help develop compensation programs that keep Microsoft competitive! This position will be responsible for providing HR compensation consulting services on all compensation related matters for assigned business units and will work directly with partners across HR, Worldwide Incentive Compensation, Line Management, and other Compensation team members to effectively support the business. Successful candidate will proactively partner with HR and line management to identify and address compensation issues and evangelize Microsoft's performance and development strategy to the clients supported. The position will work closely with the Global Compensation programs team to both support existing and create new compensation plan designs and processes for supported client group , r epresent ing bo th th e client's point-of-view in key corporate compensation initiatives

Specific duties to include : Partners with HR Line to provide guidance to the business and develop creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues including the setting of appropriate pay levels, base pay, annual incentive pay and stock. This includes conducting job eva luations , deeply understanding and representing roles in client organization, using both market data and internal evaluations to determine appropriate compensation outcomes . Collaborate s with Total Rewards team and HR Partners, as well as HR Business Insights (HRBI) to s upport complex data analytics capability.
Qualifications : The ideal candidate will have a four-year undergraduate degree in human resources, business, or related area or the equivalent in related work experience. Prior compensation experience required. A CCP is preferred. High Tech industry experience preferre d. Familiarity with advanced statistical methods is preferred. Excel proficiency required and PowerBI. experience preferred . Excellent collaboration, influencing, advising, organization, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required. Pos ition will be located in Redmond, WA.
