Amazon S3 provides a simple web services interface that can be used to store and retrieve any amount of data, at any time, from anywhere on the web. The service aims to maximize benefits of scale and to pass those benefits on to developers. We are currently looking for software development engineers to lead innovation in our Amazon S3 storage control plane team and help us build next generation of highly scaleable and data driven control plane systems. · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field · 7+ years experience in software development · Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C/C++, C#, or Scala· Experience building high scale distributed systems · Experiencing building and maintaining mission-critical enterprise software · Practical experience with software engineering best practices · Passion for software innovation · Practical experiencing working with large data systems and tools, such as Hadoop, MapReduce and Spark · Experience in Machine Learning, data analytics and modeling Amazon is an
