Role and Opportunity: We are looking for a RF Engineer to focus on the wireless communication system design for next generation hardware products. A strong mix of technical breadth and depth will allow you to work cross-functionally with different disciplines (Industrial Design, Mechanical, Electrical, Thermal, Software and Firmware) to develop compelling innovative products. You will work with internal and external partners, select key strategic components and help set the foundation for amazing products.
• Help lead the radio and antenna development of next generation products. This includes WIFI/BT, GNSS, NFC/RFID, and WWAN technologies. • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering, software/firmware, hardware verification, program management, manufacturing, and other product-development teams to specify, design and optimize the overall wireless communication sub-system of the product from concept through development. • Assist partner development teams to identify and resolve product-level issues impacting performance of the wireless sub-system, including system de-sense and active
• Minimum BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field. MS Preferred. • 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, and shipping high volume consumer electronics products of medium to high complexity, with complex radio systems including but not limited to WIFI/BT, LTE and NFC. • 10+ years of hands-on direct RF hardware design experience in a broad-range of tablet/laptop or smartphone products. • Strong understanding of EMI/RFI mitigation techniques and its impact in mobile/cellular products. • Strong knowledge of fundamental antenna design and radio integration, including
