The Experience, Devices, and Gaming (EDG) Finance Business Intelligence (BI) team enables data driven decisions through delivery of analytic solutions and tools to help manage the business forward. As a Senior Reporting Manager/IT Solution Manager, you will help drive the Devices business success. This position requires deep collaboration with business partners to develop strong business scenario understanding, utilize emerging and modern technologies for analytics and reporting projects, leverage advanced analytic techniques to help solve complex business problems and needs, and bring thought leadership to the solution development process.
Envision and partner with team members to design robust reporting and analytic solutions to meet the complex needs of the Devices businesses Monitor, troubleshoot, and solve data/reporting issues to ensure high credibility Deeply understand and define key business scenarios Work across team to build/support well integrated data sets for analytics and self-serve reporting Drive evangelization and education efforts for our owned solutions/tools Effective partnerships with other BI, data science, and corporate system organizations Thought leadership for evolving the advanced BI capabilities/tools
5+ years of demonstrated work experience combining people and program management skills combined with data analytics, business, and/or financial analysis experience Strong cross-group collaboration and business partnering skills Problem solving mindset that craves complex challenges and business problems under a fast paced/changing environment Proficiency in SQL (query writing, SSIS, SSAS); Experience with C++, C#, .NET, Hadoop, Spark, etc. a plus Strong skills across the entire Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills and familiarity with DAX and Cube Value formulas for report writing;
