This position can be based in Seattle, Washington D.C., or New York City To meet the growing demand for Amazon Web Services (AWS) around the globe, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. AWS Training and Certification (T and C) is seeking a dynamic, organized, and experienced program manager who is passionate about stimulating positive social change. In this role you will be responsible for building and running a global program to develop technical and AWS skills in traditionally under-represented populations and facilitate job placement across a mix of cloud computing roles. You will work globally across AWS functions and with our customers, partners and government and social impact organizations. The successful candidate will be able to step back and think creatively to build a high impact, scalable program, while also bringing a strong and dominant execution mindset with the ability to take initiative to complete complex tasks and projects quickly and autonomously
· 7+ years of relevant work experience in Program Management, preferably in cloud computing/high-technology companies · 5+ years of experience in training/education programs · Bachelor degree in business, technology, or relevant field of study OR equivalent combined 8 years relevant Program Management experience with at least two years completed college courses. · Excellent problem solving skills · Superior oral and written communication skills, with experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units · Ability to present ideas to various levels
