The World-Wide Operations Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) team is looking for passionate and talented Senior Program Manager. In this role, the Senior Program Manager will get the opportunity to learn about Amazon’s supply chain by working on a diverse, highly visible portfolio of projects. The Senior Program Manager will support the worldwide operations benchmarking program, with a focus on Japan, Australia, India, and the Middle East. The worldwide operations benchmarking program involves setting performance expectations for 200+ operations centers worldwide, which makes up a cost bucket of $14B in 2018. To support this initiative, the main role responsibilities fall into the categories of analysis and communication. The analysis section of this role requires the Senior Program Manager to pull large data sets ( 100M data points) and make statistical-based conclusions about how the data impacts the business. · Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Statistics, Math, Finance, Business or a related field. · Knowledge and experience using SQL, VBA, and Data Warehouse. · Experience working with large data sets. · Experience in writing professional publications or executive level reporting. · Advanced knowledge/skills in excel. · Strong attention to detail. · Excellent time-management skills and organizational ability. · Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
