Amazon Web Services is looking for a seasoned supply chain professional to join our growing infrastructure team as inventory planning and management lead. This role will play a critical part in building our capability to fulfill customer promise by ensuring the availability of hardware parts at the optimal cost to support on-going operations and projects, and to constantly stay ahead of the emerging needs. Besides managing day-to-day responsibilities, the role will work on fundamentally changing the inventory planning, management, and fulfillment processes and systems for sparing. This role provides a real opportunity to develop original ideas into actions in a competitive and ever changing business climate (and experience Moore's law first-hand!). The position requires an individual who can work both autonomously and collaboratively in a demanding and often ambiguous environment with strong attention to detail and effective prioritization. · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline · 10+ years of experience in supply chain management roles · 3+ years of experience in inventory planning · Experience in supply chain process and system development and improvement· Experience in technology infrastructure · MBA or other advanced degree · 5+ years of experience in inventory planning · Program or Product Management experience · Ability to work in a fast paced environment · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity
