The Physical Stores teams responsible for Amazon Books, Amazon 4-star, and Presented by Amazon locations are leading Amazon’s charge into brick-and-mortar retail, and we are looking for an entrepreneurial, analytical, creative, flexible and fun Program Manager to help us make the world’s most customer-centric stores where customers love to shop. As a Sr. PM in Central Ops, you will serve as the nerve center between our field and corporate teams. Your exceptional organization and project management skills will allow you to deliver on a broad and detailed roadmap of projects, programs, and initiatives across Organizational Change Management, Continuous Improvement initiatives, and field team support. Your deep analytic skills, strong business judgement, and relentless focus on our core operational inputs will make you critical as you prioritize initiatives,
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university · 5+ years in product, program, or project management · 5+ years of experience with root cause analysis and process design · Data-driven decision making or quantitative analysis skills (including deep knowledge of Excel and SQL) · Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences · Experience working with cross functional teams · Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments · MBA or Master’s Degree in a related field · Background leading strategic planning and execution across a blended field and corporate organization
