Job Description: Are you an experienced Senior Program Manager looking to have a global influence at Amazon? We are looking for a talented, driven, creative problem solver to join our HR Risk and Compliance team. The team is looking for a strategic senior program manager to lead global, cross-organizational programs to manage risks and ensure compliance within the HR organization. This role is inherently cross-functional -- you will work closely with technology, design, business operations, and support teams. If you have strong program management skills, the ability to work across many functions and cultures, and coordinate resources from a great number of stakeholders, you’ll feel right at home in this role. You will join a team that solves big and interesting challenges for Amazon, across a wide variety of topics. Your first job will be to support our efforts related to inspecting and remediating potential gaps in our immigration and screening programs, and to lead our HR efforts responding
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience · 6+ years relevant project / program management experience, leading projects involving multiple stakeholders· Ability to work with large volumes of data using advanced Excel and SQL skills · Demonstrated ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people and systems in order to simplify and improve inefficient or unnecessarily complex processes · Knowledge of/ experience with Brexit · Knowledge of/ experience in HR Compliance, particularly Immigration, employee screening, Onboarding, Eligibility to Work or similar topics · Demonstrated
