Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) is a web service that provides secure, resizable compute capacity in the cloud. It is designed to make web-scale cloud computing easier for developers. In EC2 Capacity Planning in AWS, our mission is to ensure the right capacity is available for customers through forecasting, planning, guidance and execution, especially for large, out of band customer events. The EC2 Capacity Planning Team is searching for a passionate and talented program manager to help us manage our supply and demand management systems. This includes continual improvement to our demand management models in support of weekly orders and forecasting, systems innovation, new product launch, demand migration planning, and capital efficiency tracking. This is a high impact role offering an opportunity to interact with a wide spectrum of internal teams, define tool requirements and create processes that automate and optimize all aspects of demand planning. This role requires working
· 3+ years of relevant work experience in inventory management, business operations, and/or program/project management in a leading role. · BS Degree in Engineering or Business · Prior experience SQL, Tableau and other BI and analytics technologies · Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skill. Ability to communicate in writing clearly, succinctly, and in a data-driven fashion. · Excellent problem-solving skills. Comfortable with going deep and wide. Data driven. · Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegation
