Amazon Flex team Specialty Fulfillment (GSF)
Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) comprises of Prime Now, Fresh, Ultra-Fast Fresh (UFF) offering, Restaurants and Whole Foods (WFM) operations. Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) is seeking enthusiastic and high-caliber individuals to lead innovation in the GSF last mile space and drive cost and quality improvements in partnership with Amazon Flex team. The Sr Program Manager will be part of the Operations Excellence team that will help in shaping the joint strategy for 2019 and beyond with the Flex BOPS, SLS and Product teams. Amazon Flex is the primary last mile service provider for the GSF businesses. This role will play a critical role improving the engagement and performance metrics of Delivery Partners. They need to develop innovative and scalable long-term solutions to improve delivery metrics and enable a great experience for our DPs. In order to accomplish this, the individual must think strategically and make data driven decisions. Successful candidates will be strong leaders
· BA or BS in Business, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical field from an accredited university · Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, maintain a strong attention to detail · Project and Process Management Driven; Understanding of Lean concepts and waste reduction methodologies · Superior communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively manage, influence, and communicate with external business partners and internal teams · Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary (owner mindset)· MBA or Master’s Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering
