The AWS Finance team is seeking a bright, self-driven Sr. Program Manager to work with business leaders and teams to strategically shape AWS headcount management, organizational design, and operations. Currently, headcount management activities such as planning, transfers, tracking, and organizational management are often done using sub-optimal processes and mechanisms, which drive significant operational burden across entire organizations within AWS. There are many opportunities to improve headcount management within AWS, including developing better processes and mechanisms to help business leaders manage their headcount at the granularity they need in a way that is meaningful to their specific business team. We are seeking a Sr. Program Manager to work across teams to gain alignment, design, and execute on scalable headcount management and tracking programs across different organization within AWS. This requires working effectively with global business owners at all levels in Utility
o Minimum of 5 years in program/project management o Experience with HR/headcount management org designs, systems, and processes o Proven track record of taking end-to-end ownership and driving results; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning, task delegation, and coordination across functional teams o Highly detailed driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture. o Excellent oral and written communication skills, and must be comfortable engaging with executive management. o BS/BA degree; MBA preferred o Advanced degree
