The Alexa AI organization is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead one of our most highly visible initiatives. Our team builds the foundational Artificial Intelligence technology that powers Alexa’s ability to understand and act on human language. As a Senior Program Manager, you will have program management ownership for one of our strategic initiatives and be responsible for assembling and driving all product and business workstreams for the initiative. You will partner closely with product managers and with technical program managers as you build out and execute a project plan, communication plan, and risk management plan. You will need to make sure that internal and external documentation is up to date and that the developer support organization is trained and ready to support any new features you roll out. Your customers and stakeholders will be diverse and span across end users, internal developers, external developers, and other internal product teams. This role is more than
• 5+ years of program management experience • 3+ years of managing programs that define, build and enhance technical products at large scale • 2+ years working with developer-facing technologies • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field • Masters of Business Administration • An understanding of core techniques in spoken language understanding • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proven track record driving innovation on behalf of both enterprises and consumers • Exceptional customer focus • Experience delivering technology programs in a high growth environment
