Accordingly, Microsoft News' Monetization team has been tasked with keeping these best-in-class consumer experiences free through credible, appropriate and discrete advertising. As a Senior Program Manager on the Monetization team, you will be responsible for driving and managing international lead generation revenue that is earned via direct monetization deals with advertisers and content partners.
• Work with Microsoft News' international markets to identify and drive individual/multi-market Lead Generation opportunities; • Consolidate monetization initiatives into a global playbook, evangelize and update in real-time; • Manage virtual team consisting of Regional Monetization Leads and share/review business opportunities; • Mitigate blockers/obstacles for new monetization executions; • Support markets on defining competitive rates and corresponding placement value; • Assist in Global Business operations: Insertion Order management via Business Development Tool (BDT), DataMart/PowerBI reporting
• BA/BS in a quantitative field, such as business, engineering, finance, economics is required; MBA is preferred. • 10+ years of experience in a digital advertising or business development role, preferably in a technology environment. • Previous professional experience managing portfolio of advertisers or business development partners, working with a global scope of perspective and creating advisory for course correction. • Ability to identify required resources and gather requirements, drive a sense of common purpose and shared goals/vision, and deliver results as an outcome of ongoing or time-bound
