As a COPS IT Program Manager , you will be part of global data center operations, specifically the Cloud Operations Platform Services (COPS) team, impacting the way Microsoft deploys and maintains its physical Cloud Services. Our foundation is built upon and managed by a team of subject matter experts working to support services for more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses in over 90 countries worldwide. As a successful COPS IT Program Manager, your performance objectives will consist of: Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of data center activities Leading teams of high-performing individual contributors in the development and implementation of global programs Exceptional ability to collaborate, openly communicate, present, and negotiate effectively across groups of various levels and disciplines, such as government entities, senior company leaders, engineers, suppliers, partners, technicians, customers, etc. Demonstrated experience delivering results with ambiguous
Basic Qualifications: 3+ Years' of enterprise level program management experience with ITIL or PMP certification 3+ Experience working with IT equipment (Servers, SANs, Networking, etc.) and IT infrastructure (Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, IDF/MDF design, structured cabling etc.) Willingness to work flexible hours, non-business hours, or other scenarios required by the flow of operations. Technical College degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a production datacenter environment
