The Global team is looking to hire an extremely talented and highly motivated Senior Program Manager to be on point for our next-generation platform for enabling rich personalized local experiences. This person will need to be a strong program manager, developing the next generation platform– defining end to end scenarios and requirements, driving alignment across multiple partners within Windows Devices organization, and being accountable for overall program delivery. In addition – this person will need to be a strong technical contributor– extending the team culture, helping plan and prioritize work, develop team members, and ultimately deliver and be accountable for world-class tools. • Define and implement world class localization, personalization and user interface across Windows operating system. • Drive strong product strategy, feature specs, and planning rigor while partnering closely with internal stakeholders – across Windows engineering as well as business teams in our business groups to crisply define, prioritize end to end scenarios and requirements. • Distill concepts and ideas into specific features and requirements and scenarios that directly impact the success of Windows around the world. • Provide subject matter expertise across all disciplines with exceptional
Traditional program management skills such as dependency identification, roadmap planning, and delivery assessment are a must have. Very strong collaboration and communication skills are required for the successful candidate as the breadth and depth of this effort spans multiple organizations both internally and externally to Microsoft. Strong technical PM skills with a demonstrated ability for diving into the details while being able to communicate across all spectrums are key to your success.
