AWS Finance team is looking for a highly motivated senior program manager to partner with our software development teams in building out financial and operational systems for the global AWS business. The success of these systems will be instrumental to AWS’ ability to scale forecasting and capacity for a fast growing and increasingly complex global organization. This position will play an integral role in ensuring the systems are accurate and support the right financial and business analysis for the global finance organization. This role will support and enable the development and automation of complex reporting and analysis that delivers the right information to multiple layers of the AWS organization. This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for critical thinking, process improvement, and who can assist in the strategic system development around the globe. - Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field - 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines -5+ years of experience in process definition, having taken a process from concept to execution - Prior experience in a Program Management or Project Management role - Advanced experience with Excel - MBA or Master’s in a related field - PMP - Experience in developing demand and/or financial software - Ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people and systems in order to invent, simplify and improve
