We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to create and execute innovative and creative internal talent and employee engagement programs and support the teams who are shaping the future of digital reading. This role will closely partner with the recruiting team who hire talent for the Kindle and Books organizations in the US and also partner with global recruiting teams supporting these orgs. Traditionally, we've focused on external hiring, with this being supplemented by internal transfers who found their way to our customer groups. With Amazon's growth in general and tech employee population in particular, we want to tap into this large internal Amazon candidate pool in a more programmatic way. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 1. 5+ years work experience in communications strategy, events management, brand development, or program management 2. Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in communicating with sr. leadership 3. Proven experience in inventing new ways to drive engagement of customers or teams 4. Proven ability to deliver excellent results and find solutions quickly when challenges need to be overcome 5. Experience working in a high-speed and ambiguous environment 6.
