As a technical program manager (TPM) on InfoSec’s Privacy team, you will be working in an agile environment solving large-scale privacy challenges by delivering innovative solutions. The Privacy team delivers centralized privacy solutions (software, policies, assurance, best practices, etc.) to protect customer trust. We deliver these solutions in a way that exceeds Amazon’s privacy bar and complies with privacy and data protection regulation, without inhibiting innovation. This role is inherently cross-functional and requires a strong ability to dive deep and earn trust -- you will work closely with teams across organizations to deliver privacy solutions. You will leverage your technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills and excellent leadership skills to come up with new ways to solve challenges at scale. As a TPM, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance customer and business needs versus technical constraints.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline. · 2+ years of technical program management experience. · 2+ years of engineering (software development/systems/support) experience · Expertise in software engineering processes and best practices for full software development life cycle (requirements definition through specification, design, coding, quality assurance, implementation, integration, launch, and production support). · Maintain a broad understanding of privacy policy, the regulatory landscape impacting Amazon, and privacy
