Holographic Processing Unit
In Cognition, people—not devices—are at the center of everything we do. Our tech moves beyond screens and pixels, creating a new reality aimed at bringing us closer together—whether that's scientists "meeting" on the surface of a virtual Mars or some yet undreamt-of possibility. To get there, we're incorporating diverse groundbreaking technologies, from the revolutionary Holographic Processing Unit to computer vision, machine learning, human-computer interaction, and more. We're a growing team of talented engineers and artists putting technology on a human path across all Windows devices, including Microsoft HoloLens, the Internet of Things, phones, tablets, desktops, and Xbox. We believe there has to be a better way. If you do too, we need you! Microsoft was awarded a contract by the United States Army to prototype hardware, software, and cloud solutions for the Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS) program. The program leverages technology from HoloLens to design a heads-up display

• Coordinate between the U.S. Army and Microsoft to ensure alignment for design requirements, testing, and project dependencies. • Lead the effort to establish and communicate timelines, logistics, and requirements for all major engagements. These include a series of formal User Juries and Soldier Touch Points, which are activities located around the country and require significant up-front planning. • Support smaller scale engagements such as User Studies, Sprint Exit Rehearsals, Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and Build Readiness Reviews. • Coordinate travel and logistics for Microsoft
• This program has ambitious goals with quick delivery. We're going to be breaking new ground and experimenting with new ways to do things, all so we can move fast. You'll need the ability to adapt quickly and the ability to thrive in fast moving, fast changing environments. • The engagement involves running projects and events on U.S. Army facilities in many locations, so plan to spend a good amount of time traveling. • We're leveraging Microsoft's best practices for designing, researching, and shipping products, so you'll need experience bringing different organizations together to collaborate
