We're looking for a strong Program Manager with a track record of excellence in technical execution and product planning for a role helping bring Windows as a Service to customers around the world. You will combine the best traditions of the PM discipline at Microsoft with cutting-edge understanding of Microsoft's business goals and the needs of our customers to help lead the efforts to deliver Windows 10 to hundreds of millions of customers world-wide. Candidate will be leading the way to make Windows updates more reliable and to make the update process trusted and delightful.
Candidate will be responsible for: Owning critical Windows Update features/scenarios to support Microsoft business goals Roadmap and vision of his/her features/scenarios Influencing the Core OS update strategy to improve update trustworthiness. Driving requirements/specification and lead feature crew through development cycles
Required Qualifications 5 Years of Program Manager experience Preferred Qualifications Passion for customer experiences and balancing the needs of the business and of over a billion customers worldwide C omfort with all levels of the technical stack, from UX all the way down Strong problem-solving and leadership skills to prioritize work for multiple teams Proven track-record for delivering features in multiple development cycle Superior communication skills and high levels of emotional intelligence Adept at adapting styles between working with IC SWEs all the way up to Corporate Vice Presidents
