Cloud Supply Chain and Provisioning (CSCP) delivers server, storage, and network infrastructure around the world to meet the dramatical growing demand of Microsoft's Cloud businesses. Our focus is on delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide with high predictability and efficiency. We are looking for a passionate, high energy individual to help build out our Cloud at scale in a dynamic and fast paced environment. This role is responsible for planning and deploying capacity in collaboration with various Engineering Groups with the focus on executing and optimizing server/storage pre-dock service delivery. With an engineering program management and process improvement mindset, this specific role will focus anywhere from data center and network readiness to cabling and network provisioning. The role will be 40% focused on ensuring execution of day-to-day deployments are on track and 60% on driving process and service improvements.
Project managing deployments including servers, network, storage, and supporting infrastructure Owns hitting specific cycle time and lead-time goals regarding delivery of the capacity throughout the process Drives deep analysis of deployment progress, blockers, and incidents by leveraging existing tools, reports and creating new reports and dashboards through Microsoft based tools (e.g. Power BI) Makes data-driven decisions and speaks to key stakeholders in terms of data-driven stories Utilizes enhanced tooling, reports and dashboards to drive daily and weekly triage of blockers in the system as
7+ years industry experience in engineering program management, IT operations or manufacturing engineering BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience Exceptional cross-team skills Demonstrated technical problem solving and communication skills Excellent analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements Preferred qualifications: Well versed in project management methodologies, approaches and tools with a PMP certification preferred Expertise in
