As a Senior Program Manager in Academic Ecosystems, the core of this role is influencing communities and empowering others within Microsoft to do the same. You'll need to prioritize what you create yourself and what you lead others to create via your fellow engineers and vendors alike. Your day-to-day might include: Interact with faculty and students at universities to understand their needs, preferences, and perspectives on data science and how Microsoft products are used in the data science community. Build a strategy and solutions for how we reach the next generation of student developers with
Advocacy is all about working across teams and leading others through impact and influence to drive our Microsoft's product adoption goals worldwide. The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated, self-starter with a strong technical acumen who thrives amidst ambiguity, has a can-do attitude, is comfortable speaking to faculty, students and other public audiences, and has a minimum of 6 years in engineering program management or as a software engineer in AI.
