The Fire Tablet and E-reader Engagement team is looking for a leader who will own the product marketing strategy for new product and feature launches. The successful candidate will interface with several teams across Amazon and help develop world class mechanisms to meet our fast paced business needs. He or she must be comfortable driving high level business decisions, thriving in ambiguous situations, collaborating with others, and building things from scratch. As the Sr. Product Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to define the strategy for how we communicate to customers to drive adoption and usage, and will drive the design and implementation of marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for defining our positioning and messaging, creating the most compelling content to help customers understand their use cases and value propositions, and building the right programs to increase awareness and adoption. · Bachelor’s degree · 7+ years of relevant work experience in product management, product marketing, and/or digital media · Experience collaborating across multiple organizations · Experience using customer insights and data to back up assumptions and develop marketing strategies· MBA degree · Experience managing adoption, engagement, and retention focused programs · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
