AWS CloudWatch is blazing new trails as a pioneer in the fast growing infrastructure and application monitoring arena. We are seeking a leader who will chart the product strategy and roadmaps to help us continue to grow the CloudWatch business. This is an extremely visible position within CloudWatch as well as with AWS service owners and business leaders of all levels. Strategic Objectives: · Drive innovation based on intimate knowledge of the existing and potential AWS customers. · Own the strategy behind feature development, pricing, and the P and L · Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning, definition, building, launching, to tactical activities. · Define creative and high quality roadmaps and product requirements based on team strategy and vision · Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational support load · Develop and implement the go to market plans that will drive awareness, trial, adoption, and increased usage
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or math, or related work experience. · 5+ years of product management experience. · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. · Entrepreneurial, with a proven track record for taking ownership and delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments. · Sound business judgment, ability to influence others, and strong analytical skills.· MBA from top business school · Extensive (10+ years) of product and general management experience. · Knowledge and experience in Monitoring/Management related market segments (Application Performance
