The Alexa Smart Home team is focused on making Alexa the interface for the home. Customers love using Alexa to interact with their homes through natural commands and intuitive interfaces. We are evolving Alexa into an intelligent, indispensable companion that helps put you in control of the connected devices and experiences in your home. This role reports to the Product Management lead for one of the Alexa Smart Home groups. They will own product management for how customers interact with entertainment devices within their homes. On a typical day you'll: · Work back from consumer and external developer customers to define a product that will delight customers · Partner with organization leaders to define the strategic vision for the Alexa Smart Home product offering · Own and define the product roadmap, managing tradeoffs and dependencies with key stakeholders · Drive product launches including working with business development team, public relations team, executives, customer support,
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field · Minimum of 5+ years of product management experience · 5+ years of experience working on Internet-scale web services · Experience defining strategic vision for technical products · Experience launching APIs for third party developer customers · Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience · Experience working with stakeholders across both technical and business functions · Experience driving a product's go-to-market activities· MBA or Master’s degree · Experience working within a product team or similar environment
