Come join a creative team of engineers dedicated to making it more natural and intuitive to use AWS services from their favorite IDEs. In this position you’ll build solid partnerships between AWS teams, deeply understand our customers, define user experiences and shape the future of IDEs for cloud development. You will help us define cloud-native IDE experiences that are as welcoming as they are powerful. Our customers want experiences that fit seamlessly into their IDE of choice, but when it makes sense we also want consistency across IDEs. You will interact with Amazon developers all over the world to identify and resolve pain points, fill in gaps in tooling, and evolve the IDE experience. You will analyze telemetry to keep us focused on our customer’s needs. You’ll also work with teams across Amazon who want to provide in-IDE experiences for their services. · Bachelor’s or Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline – or equivalent industry experience · 10+ years of relevant software development or product/program management experience · Experience delivering software developer focused products from concept to launch · Experience building cross-team relationships and driving initiatives across large teams (500+ people) · Exposure to a variety of languages, frameworks, toolchains · Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts
