The Alexa Grocery Shopping team is building technology that will meaningfully change how people shop for groceries in brick-and-mortar stores. We’re seeking a principal product manager with technical skills and operational experience to envision and deliver Alexa features in this space. As a a single threaded leader, you will be responsible for defining the business opportunity and long term product strategy to help customers who shop at Whole Foods Market save time and find everything they need, before and during a store visit. You will drive strategic product, business and technology decisions for Alexa/Whole Foods Market, will envision a suite of features to be delivered in 2019 and beyond, and own the end-to-end customer experience of these features across tech and operations. Key Responsibilities Include – · Define a long term product strategy and vision, including new features to leverage emerging technologies to meet grocery shopping needs in brick-and-mortar stores · Drive requirements
· Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math, or equivalent experience · Demonstrated experience shipping commercially successful consumer products to global market segments · Superior communication skills, written and verbal. Experience presenting to C-suite leadership · Experience leading the development of core technologies in one or more of the following areas - (1) retail store operations, (2) search, and (3) NLP· MBA · Experience in delivering tech innovation for grocery / food retail / consumer retail businesses · Experienced in building ML algorithms / applying AI solutions
