Sellers on Amazon Business help provide unprecedented product selection for our customers. Along with increasing the number of product offerings, every product on Amazon Business can also be sold by multiple sellers. Each seller has a listing or “offer” that may differ in Price, availability, ship speed, product, seller quality, product location etc. The offer that provides the best business customer value: combining price, fulfillment and service expectations that customers care about is featured as the default offer for the product in the ‘Buy Box’. The Amazon Business Featured Merchant Algorithm team leverages and enhances the Consumer focused FMA algorithms to decide which offer gets featured on the Buy Box for businesses. FMA runs these computations billions of time every day for hundreds of millions of products and billions of offers. Based on the team's learning based on customer buying preferences, we drive business strategy and provide inputs into new programs and features that
· Bachelor’s degree in sciences, computer science, math, engineering, operations research, statistics, or related discipline · Proven ability to launch successful, product offerings that are used and loved by their customers · Ability to present ideas to senior executives by way of exceptional verbal and written skills · Strong analytical skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions· MBA or Master’s Degree in Math, Engineering or Sciences · Experience with Machine Learning systems · Exhibit excellent judgment · Relentlessly high standards
