We're constantly looking for ways to innovate how we package our products and improve our customers' packaging experience. The Amazon Customer Packaging Experience (CPEX) team is focused on developing programs and technologies that improve product protection, drive efficiencies, and reduce 'wrap rage'. We’re looking for a strong Product Manager to help us scale our packaging improvement initiatives. As a product manager, you'll work with operations, business teams, and software engineers to gather and document requirements and drive those solutions within cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with groups across Amazon to deliver the best product with most efficient use of resources and technologies. You will work with all the stakeholders to assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects by meeting project milestones. Successful candidates will have
· Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or engineering is required · 5+ years of relevant experience in product or program management with a record of successful delivery · Experience in managing large projects across multiple organizations and partnering with multiple disciplines · Strong written and verbal communications and interpersonal/team skills · Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses · Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
