Do you want to work with engineering and outbound marketing to help us identify, build, position, and market a great new Microsoft 365 Consumer Subscription? Do you want to have a global footprint for your work? We are looking for an exceptional product marketing manager to join a new team focused on building a customer-focused subscription globally for Microsoft's various consumer services. The Modern Life and Devices Team defines the consumer vision, product management, business plans and go-to-market strategy for the Modern Life Solution Area and Microsoft's Devices business. As one of the company's largest multi-billion-dollar revenue businesses, the area includes the Windows platform and ecosystem, the Microsoft Surface device portfolio, Office 365 consumer services, Skype, Microsoft's intelligent agent in Cortana and search efforts with Bing, as well as the Microsoft Education Team. Understanding market trends and developing competitive product positioning. Understanding articulated and unarticulated needs of our customers, working across Customer Data and Analytics team, Research, customer support, and other customer listening systems. Shaping the definition of the target audience and corresponding value prop for the Microsoft 365 Consumer subscription Partner with the business planning team in developing the business plan and monetization models for the subscription Develop the strategy and actions for the full customer journey. Help define, track, analyze and communicate
6+ years work experience in business roles such product management/product marketing is required Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical skills and problem identification / resolution skills Background in consumer software and services preferred Ability to analyze data and synthesize and articulate complex topics Strong communication and collaboration skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
