The Author Services team is seeking an enthusiastic Product Manager to develop tools to help authors achieve their goals. As Sr. Product Manager for Author Services, you will own delivering a suite of tools to help authors tell their stories well, reach a wider audience, and earn a living from their craft. You will set a bold vision for the team and develop a roadmap of features that will help authors manage their Amazon presence, connect with their readers, and more. You’ll work across teams in Kindle and Amazon to build scalable, self-service tools that help authors accomplish their goals. In doing so, you will help the Author Services team achieve its mission of helping all authors have successful careers on their own terms. The ideal candidate will be innovative, team oriented, an effective communicator, and have a track record of success developing consumer web products. Key Responsibilities: · Navigate substantial ambiguity to define and drive the business strategy for your products,

· Bachelor’s Degree is required · 5+ years’ experience leading product development in a product management capacity· MBA and/or advanced technical degree, from a top-tier program · Experience with SQL, Excel, and proficiency in analytics · Knowledge of the book industry and/or author business · Demonstrated ability to influence across teams · Demonstrated history driving technical development in a project/program management capacity, including development of and reporting on complex program schedules. · Strong written and verbal communication Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer
