Amazon Enterprise Translation team is looking for a leader to help us accelerate the product development of translation management systems. You will be using your technology, strategy, business development, and product management experience in content localization and Translation to influence the product vision and roadmap of the team. You will be working closely with hundreds of content and localization program owners across the company to understand their content localization and translation need, apply your localization expertise to identify the critical paths to meet and exceeds customer need, and work closely with software development team to make high judgement trade-offs between feature, schedule, and effort to deliver what matters most to our customers quickly. You will also be working with Amazon's internal linguistic service provider to create product vision and strategy on systems and tooling that would enable them to provide the rest of Amazon with linguistic services that are
· BA or BS in a technical field · 5+ years of experience in product management or similar roles, working in cross-functional teams of engineers, business stakeholders and end users · In depth understanding of content localization processes and technologies · Strong verbal and written communication and ability to work effectively with non-technical customers· MBA · 3+ years of experience in localization product or program management · Experience working with software engineer teams
